Lee Daniels and company are officially doing too much in Season 2. It just seems like they’re trying to cram a lot into each episode. Last week in Episode 6, Hakeem was kidnapped, saved, hooked up with Anika, and struggled with performing with his girl group. It as if the writers are operating in full soap opera mode. They aren’t even trying to make this show the least bit interesting. Perhaps I expected too much from this season.
Anyway, I’m still here and hoping that this season could still entice me. The promo for tonight’s episode looks good enough since Cookie is unknowingly sleeping with the enemy. And why oh why is Lucious rapping again??
